Pete met his wife while she was teaching in his hometown Spanish, Ontario. At the outbreak of WWII, they were married in Pembroke, Ontario and moved to Niagara Falls, Ontario. He worked for Cyanamid of Canada at the plant in Welland, referred to as The Welland Chemical. They had six children. [S62]
