Reported born and raised in Strzelno village near "Nowe Miasto", Poland.
Valentine Glubka and wife Marcine Bystrom came to America in 1866 aboard a sailing ship. On the ocean for 16 weeks, they ran out of food before reaching Baltimore.

Valentine purchased 60 acres of farm land in Pine Creek, WI which was later left to his son August.
