NameJohannes Jacob Duinker
Death15 Mar 1923, The Hague, Holland
Notes for Johannes Jacob Duinker
It was the estate of Johannes Jacob Duinker which provided income from a trust fund for Frerich Wilhelm. He also inherited the Duinker home at 47 Eindenhout Straat in Heemstede, Holland. Johannes bequeathed in his will of June 22, 1923 (executed by notary Mr. A. Scheltem Beduin at Amsterdam) to "the children of his foster-child Frerich Wilhelm Meyerdirck at Baltimore, and his wife Rose Mary Holland, namely:
1. Dorothy Meyerdirck
2. Edna Marie Meyerdirck
charged with the usufruct for life in behalf of their parents or the last survivor of them a sum of Hfl 20.000.
These assets were held in trust as 781 units Common Trust Fund "A" of the Mercantile-Safe Deposit and Trust Company. The original assets received at the inception of the trust consisted of a cast sum of $7,827.62 in 1923 when Johannes Duinker died.3
Notes for Christine (Spouse 1)
It is Christine Meyerdirck Duinker who raised Frerich Wilhelm Meyerdirck after the death of his mother. She and her husband lived in Heemstede, Holland near the Hague where Johannes worked, I believe in some government capacity. Somewhere I found a reference to either him or perhaps Frerich Meyerdirck as helping Kaiser Wilhelm find a place to live in Holland following the First World War. The address of their home was 47 Eindenhout (Einderrhout) Straat.3
